2008 8 (Sun) 10-12 Learn to Quilt II (#5 of 8) 14 (Sat) 9:00am 2nd SATURDAY of the Month Demonstration 15 (Sun) HEARTBEAT QUILTS CLOSED FOR FATHER'S DAY 20-21 (Fri-Sat) Relay for Life: This Annual Event to benefit American Cancer Society is a 24 hour Relay at the D-Y High School Athletic field. Come by and cheer us on or join us for a lap around the track. There is a Survivor's walk and the Luminaries are lit at dusk around the track to give us hope and inspiration. There is still time to make your donation. We would love to see you there. 29

Copying of books and/or patterns is NEVER PERMITTED. Almost every workshop requires the purchase of a book or pattern. |

Sewing machine classes require that you bring your machine to class and have a working knowledge of its uses. There are a limited number of rentals available. |

Unless otherwise specified, working knowledge of rotary cutting equipment is required |

Workshop materials must be purchased prior to the day of class. You come to class prepared to learn and sew. |
|
Workshops start on time. Instructors cannot repeat missed information. In the case of series classes, missed classes cannot be made up. We try to help you in every way we can during regular working hours. |
| Please DO NOT wear any strong perfumes, scented hairsprays or scented lotions to class. Be courteous to those fellow quilters who are allergic to these items. Thank you for your consideration of other's health. |

LEARN TO QUILT
II: This once a month for 8
months series is open only to those who have completed Learn to Quilt
I. In addition to advanced machine
skills you will also learn hand appliqué. (FEE: $100 +
materials for 8 month series, June 8)  |

QUILT IN A DAY: Piece a quilt top using
Quilt in a Day patterns. Select from several books according to
your skill level. Bring a friend and you pay ONLY ONE FEE.
This is a great way to start quilting and sew with friends. (FEE:
$60/two sewers or $45 one sewer, July 20). |

STRIP
"N" DIP: If you've
always wanted to use the New "Jelly Rolls", this class is for
you. Join Mary and create a gorgeous diamond quilt. (Fee: $50,
August 3) |

MIRANDA BAG: Make the
perfect companion bag, 12"x10"x6", loaded with 10 inside
pickets. Choose short or long fabric handles or splurge for some
fashion handles. This bag can be finished in a day.

SOMETHING
FISHY: Learn the art of "Raw Edge Appliqué"
with this underwater adventure of colorful fish and seaweed. The wall hanging
finishes 41"x49" and can be embellished to suit your
fancy.
